So, here are the ages! (Based off the Sonic Wiki) It'll just makes things look better, and when you think about some of the episodes, it could be the case. In this instance to make things look better, by rounding the 2.5 years to 3 years. If you get the Sonic Casts ages (I'm going for whats on the Sonic Wiki so this may alter) Then to figure out the ages of the Sonic Boom cast, we add 2.5. He states the following: "There isn't really any sort of official difference in age, but the way they act comes across maybe a bit older." If this is the case, then 2.5 years older would support this. To back up my theory, I've found a Twitter post from Stephen Frost who I believe was a producer at SEGA. So what about once a week?Ģ.5 years is an excellent number! I mean, it gives time for Eggman to make and build a new robot army per week, allows the Sonic Gang to have some free time to do things for themselves, and it all makes pretty great sense. That I thought was a still a bit too small, and also it's not fair on Eggman having to make a new army every afternoon. Thats 2 months and it is way too small of a number. If Team Sonic has defeated Eggman 130 times while on the island, we can see how old each character is. 3 of a card, or 7692 full punched out cards stored somewhere. For those who think the Mayor has more then one card, I've done the math and in order for Mayor Fink to have one million holes punched out, he would need 7692.30 cards. If this represents how many wins the Sonic Team has received while on the island then it may be the real number of victories against Eggman, and not one million. I've counted them all up, and we get 130 punched out holes. For a brief moment, we can see how many holes have been punched out. However, we do get something else in the episode! If you remember, Mayor Fink had a Hero Rewards Card. Nobody would get any free time, and we see episodes when Eggman does not attack at all! So, this was very confusing for me. Now guys, if we got any smaller then we would be interrupting the Sonic Boom concept. What is the same thing applied, but it was twice a day? Still, very old but we are getting closer. I then thought, what if there was a point per person so instead of one point for the group, they get five because there are five members. I figured that the team could not possibly be 2740 years old, so lets say they defeat Eggman twice every day. If the team defeated Eggman once every single day. Here's the thing, could it really be possible for the Team Sonic to defeat Eggman one million times, and still be there shown age? I did the math, and these are the results: I got this theory from Sonic Boom: Episode 49 (Role Models) in the scene with Mayor Fink gives Team Sonic trophies for saving the village one million times. There weren’t a ton of shots with the characters standing close enough to each other to where I could get a good enough comparison, but hopefully my effort isn’t in vain either. This theory explains what I believe is the real age of Team Sonic in Sonic Boom. If I do it this way and Amy and Sonic were the same height, they’d look it because their eyebrows/eyelashes match up)Īgain, this is all estimation, so don’t ask why the Boom characters are so much taller than the main series characters. The soles of their shoes also don’t count obviously and I measure heights based on the spot between their ears (so since Sonic’s quills go up the further back they go, I don’t count it in my experience, it helps make heights look more correct. Now, for this chart, I tried to take into account how characters are leaning or bending, hence why main!Eggman doesn’t line up perfectly on the height chart, but is still the same height as his counterpart. I dunno if there was some weird perspective going on or not, but I still did my best. I had two different heights of Eggman and Amy standing right next to each other, but Amy’s height wasn’t consistent. The weird thing is that heights seem to fluctuate in the show. After that, I took screenshots from the show and tried to estimate heights based on them. Obviously I needed a reference, so this height chart relies on the idea that both Doctor Eggman and his Boom counterpart are the same height, 6′ 1″ (185 cm). So, since there were no official heights for the Boom characters, I decided to see if I could succeed in figuring things out on my own.
